Back Home!

We are finally home ~ man that's a LONG trip!! We got home around 6pm. We had a few stops to make on the way home!! Cambry received another WONDERFUL report!! Such an answer to so many prayers! We will be going back at the end of June for her 6 month check-up! Cambry's Dr. & the report on the staple surgery will be on the news in Kansas City tonight at 9pm. It should be on the internet after night's airing. As soon as we have the link, we will post it! So, check back often!! Thanks for everyone's continued prayers! Love to each of you!!

#4!!!! :)

We have some WONDERFUL news! Shelby, Cambry, & Rhys are going to be big sisters/brother!! We are expecting our 4th child in November!! God is SO good!!

17 Degrees!!!

On Monday, Feb. 2nd we had Cambry's 6 week check-up! She went from 38 degrees to 21 degrees!! OUR GOD IS AWESOME!!! Dr. Schwend was very pleased!! We only expected to lose about 3 to 5 degrees, so 17 degrees is fantastic!! She is doing very well & has been released back to full activity! She's very excited to start gymnastics again! This first x-ray is back in late Oct. 2008 - 38 degrees. :(

2/1 Headed to Kansas City

Grady Posting: We are on the way back to K.C. for the 6 week check-up on monday at 8:00 am. We will do x-rays to see how the surgery went and hopefully Cambry will be released back to normal activities. We will return home after we see the Doc.

Love you MORE!!

During Cambry's surgery, she began this game of "I love you more" with us! We think that during that difficult time, hearing all three of us constantly saying "I love you more" lifted her spirits!! Well, the game continues today!! She leaves the car at school in the mornings telling us this, we go to bed saying it, we yell it through the floor vents to her room (in the basement), we tape paper to the kitchen windows with it written on it while she's playing outside, & even paint it on the walls in the bathroom!! (We were repainting anyway!!) She gets to laughing SOOOO hard, she can't even respond back with "I love you MORE"!!! So Cambry when you read this ~ WE LOVE YOU MORE!!!! HA!

Shelby ~ Basketball Games

Shelby in action!! (She's right under the ball~black shirt) Both teams worked very hard, but Elkhart came out on top!! Shelby scored 4 of the 8 points! Her height helps just a little!! She almost looks her mom in the eye & is still growing! We are SO proud of her!!

Cambry Update!

Cambry is doing VERY well!! It's been almost 5 weeks since surgery & she is still amazing us every single day! She stills gets tired towards the end of the week, but uses the weekends to catch up!! During Shelby's b-ball game she settled into the stands beneath our feet to read ~ BUT that didn't last very long!! She slept for over 2 hours like this! She was exhuasted!

We will be going back to Kansas City on Feb. 1st to see Dr. Schwend on Mon., Feb. 2nd for her 6 week visit. We will post the details as soon as we get home!!
