Creed's Birth Story November 14, 2009 (shelby's 12th Birthday!!) ~ 12:28 am, my water broke. We headed to Garden City, arriving at 3 am. Getting to the hospital was such a worry for me that when we finally arrived, I just relaxed & Creed was born quickly! So quickly that we had
NO epidural or pain medicine. This was a new experience for Grady & I both! Epidurals are heaven & without one is
NOT heaven!! I carried Creed 11 days longer than I have ever carried a child & that was almost too long!! I (really should say "we" because I could not have done this without my rock, Grady!) delivered our 9lb 4.4oz Baby Creed at 5:40am!! After a hard labor & stuck shoulders that scared everyone, he was here & healthy! That's what really matters & I would gladly do it
ALL again for the joy, love, excitement, thrills, tears, happiness, bonding, compassion, patience, fulfillment, strength, & completeness that has been felt & seen in this new family of 6!!! God is so good & we want to give him
ALL the praise & glory! Jeremiah 29:11

Grady knew no one was going to believe him, so here's a picture to prove it ~
9lbs 4.4oz!!

Looks just like his Daddy!!! :)

Grady was comforting him!

This hospital was different than my previous deliveries. They were AWESOME!!! All the "stuff" normally done in the nursery was done in my room. So, I got to watch his 1st bath ~ an experience I had not been privilaged to have with the other kids. I am so grateful for this opportunity!!

My first bonding moments with Creed!! Tears, tears, & more tears!

Grady's first bonding moments with Creed! MORE tears!

He is long ~ 21 3/4 inches!

Finally, going home!!!

Shelby & Cambry's first moments meeting Creed! Let me tell you, nothing compares to this! Again, more tears!!
